Any participant can join both the live or the online competition for different classes (no duplicates).

​

*If the pandemic continues, HK Cultural Centre is closed during the competition dates, all live competition participants will be asked to provide video recording and join the online competition. Video submission deadline is 25 September. We shall announce the changes and arrangement by the end of September on our Facebook HKMFY.

Award and Prize in each class:

• Winner- one person: will be awarded a winner trophy and prize HK$300; Diploma Open Class: will be awarded a winner trophy and prize HK$400

• Second and Third prize- can be more than one person: will be awarded a trophy

• Each awardee will obtain an award certificate

• Each competitor who scores 90 and/or above will obtain a Honours Certificate

• Each competitor who scores 80 and/or above will obtain a Merit Certificate

*$150 administrative fee will be applied per person to applications or any information change after 31 August 2021.

Official registration time, competition time and performing order will be announced by  individual notification via email between 15-20 September 2021.

All participants must follow the competition requirements for the chosen class, including age, repertoire level and time limit. Those who do not meet the requirements risk disqualification. Payment is not refundable nor transferable in any case.
